How we will study
We’ll go verse by verse. Sometimes it will be one verse and sometimes more.
Some verses or comments will include Cross References (supporting Bible verses) in Green.
We will read the verse(s) and any Cross References.
I will share what I have learned from the verse(s).
Everyone will share anything they learned from the verse(s) using the comments section.
We’ll share any questions we have about what we have learned. When necessary, I will research an answer and post it with the following weeks study.
- We will start with Genesis – The first of 5 books written by Moses
- Genesis means the origin or coming into being of something. Genesis gives us the beginning or everything we know and believe.
- The book of Genesis was written physically by Moses as he was directed by God, so we believe it is actually God speaking.
- The original text was Ancient Hebrew which, we believe, was the very first alphabet that created actual words.
- Jesus is also the Word of God. Joh_1:1-3
